Peter Vetere is a mixed media artist, musician, and software developer based in Raleigh, NC.  He is fascinated with the mind's innate desire and ability to invent structure.  His work attempts kindle this creative instinct in the observer by presenting a highly abstract image, without specific meaning or context, but, through symmetry and color, engages the imagination, rewarding repeated and lengthy viewings.  He believes in the reflective nature of art, and enjoys hearing descriptions of what viewers see in his works.

Peter views the creation of his art as both meditative and explorative.  He challenges himself to possess the patience and determination required to complete his vision, while simultaneously inventing tools and methods to make the process more efficient -- traits that are a natural extension of his work developing computer software.
